We are passionate about the success of Leith Walk Elementary/Middle School and all of the students, parents, teachers, staff and administration. We believe that serving on the PTO will help bridge the gap between home and school and that family and community engagement is essential to student success.
President – Ben Lefstein
Ben Lefstein is the father of a third grader at Leith Walk Elementary/Middle School. He attended Baltimore City College and has a Master’s in Environmental Planning and Management from JHU. He works as a Production Editor on scientific journals. He also serves as President for his (very small) community association and as a Cub Scout den leader.

Secretary – Ebony Larry
Ebony Larry is a Leith Walk alum. She also attended Roland Park Middle School and Baltimore Polytechnic Institute. She has a degree in Civil Engineering and works as a Project Engineer, managing municipal water/wastewater rehabilitation contracts. She has a daughter in first grade at Leith Walk. She has served as Secretary for the Young 500 Mentoring Program, American Society of Civil Engineers: Howard University Student Chapter and American Society of Civil Engineers: Morgan State University Student Chapter. She serves as a Cohort Lead and Event and Outreach Coordinator for the Ingenuity Project Alumni Board.
Treasurer
Our former treasurer has resigned because her children moved to a different school. Ben Lefstein is currently also serving as treasurer. If you are interested in this position or otherwise being involved in the Executive Board, please come to our meetings.
